Lunchtime is an excellent opportunity to meet and get to know new people -- colleagues from other departments at work, new people who have joined your company, new vendors, new business partners or new prospects.
Instead of doing the "same old, same old," -- eating lunch at your desk or going out with the "usual" crowd -- pick a day or two a week, and invite someone NEW to lunch. Even once per week is 50+ opportunities to development relationships with someone new or strengthen a relationship with someone you don't get to dine with often.
New people always open up the possibility for new opportunities. Begin the process of expanding your social network -- invite someone new to lunch TODAY or sometime this week. Then, make this a weekly HABIT going forward.
When you look back 12 months from now, you'll be amazed at the results!
