Arriving a little early or on-time is a very positive personal branding attribute that demonstrates your respect for others' time. It also sends the signal that you're organized and "on top of things."
Build enough time in your schedule to allow for arriving a few minutes early to meetings. Hold to your scheduled phone call times. If you're running a bit behind, let the other person(s) know -- give them a "heads up" call or text message.
Be a role model for punctuality; expect the same from your team members and direct reports.
Start TODAY -- Review your calendar and make any adustments necessary to give you enough "cushion" between meetings, calls and tasks to allow yourself to be on time.
How would you rate YOUR punctuality? What can you do to improve upon it?
